Cotton hand towels are more eco friendly than microfibre towels as they are biodegradable and naturally antimicrobial. They are just like a usual kitchen towel but without any microplastics. How should I wash cotton hand towels? Throw your hand towel in the washing machine on a hot wash. You can put your towels into the tumble dryer but avoid fabric softener as it will reduce their absorbency. If your hand towel has a smell, soak them in warm water with vinegar before you wash them.
