DHA - docosahexaenoic acid - a chemical compound from the omega-3 group of polyunsaturated fatty acids that contains six isolated double bonds. It is an exogenous substance that must be supplied to the body from outside with food or dietary supplements, as the body is not capable of synthesizing the compound on its own. Nutritional sources of DHA include products such as fatty marine fish (salmon, herring, mackerel), as well as algae.

Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is a steroidal chemical compound that is included in the group of fat-soluble vitamins. Thus, the absorption of the component is closely related to the presence of fats in the daily diet. Vitamin D3 is a substance that is supplied to the body with food (it can be found, among other things, in oily sea fish), as well as through skin synthesis. It is stored primarily in adipose tissue and liver.
