Flax and Linseed
Flax and linseed are a crop grown in cooler regions of the world and used for food and oil, it is also used for the production of linen. Linseed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids including omega-3 which helps to lower levels of LDL cholesterol (‘bad’ cholesterol) in the blood.
