Ultimate Acai Bowl


Acai bowls are all the rage at the moment and a great way to start the day. Most acai bowls use frozen acai berries but these pouches can often be more expensive and harder to get hold of. This acai bowl using acai powder is a great easy alternative, and acai powder can be bought in bulk and added to anything.


  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (any kind)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 2 tbsp acai powder
  • 2 tbsp hemp powder or chia seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp nut butter
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • a handful of kale without the stems or any other leafy green of your choice
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice

Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Using more milk if you like it a thinner consistency or less if you like it slightly thicker.

Top it off with fruits, nuts, granola, coconut or any other toppings of your choice.
